ParaMed in Guelph is seeking a Pediatric Home Care Nurse for part-time overnight shifts. You will manage scheduled visits in patients’ homes, provide ethical nursing care, and adjust plans as patient needs evolve, all while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The role emphasizes autonomy, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities to build long-term therapeutic relationships with pediatric patients in the community.

Formación

• Registration with the CNO as a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in Pediatric care is mandatory.
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
• Reliability and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area.
• Experience working with the vulnerable population.
• Passion for making a difference in your community.
• Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs.

Job Description

This is a replacement vacancy.

In this community nursing role, you as a Pediatric Nurse will have scheduled shifts within the community to care for patients in various settings. You will work with patients of pediatric ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible. This is a Part-Time Overnight position in Guelph.

• 10pm-8am Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays
