Job summary

The Home Depot in Regina, Canada, is looking for an Order Picker who thrives on accuracy and speed to support our online order fulfillment. You will locate items, label and stage them for delivery or pickup, and keep the floor stocked and organized.

You’ll use desktops and smartphone apps, may operate a lift truck with training provided, and work a flexible overnight schedule (10 PM–6:30 AM). We offer benefits, tuition reimbursement, profit sharing, and a 10% shift premium for overnight roles.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule including overnight shifts (Mon–Sun 10PM–6:30AM).
• Computer skills; comfortable with desktops and apps on smartphones.
• Forklift/lift truck experience is an asset but not required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Detail-oriented; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Picking, organizing, staging and verify orders for delivery or pick-up
• Labeling and placing orders into holding areas until moved out store and loaded onto the truck
• Utilize lift truck equipment to prepare customer orders (training provided)
• Use computer terminals and Home Depot portable phone to identify product & location, check inventory, look-up orders and pick orders

As an Order Picker, you will help continue to grow our online business and customer relationships by obtaining detailed list of product(s) necessary to fill each order, prioritizing them and picking the product ready forcustomerpick-up or delivery in a timelymanner.

Position Responsibilities:

• Picking, organizing, staging and verify orders for delivery or pick-up
• Accurately labelling and placing orders into specified holding areas until moved out store and loaded onto the truck
• Utilize appropriate lift truck equipment to prepare customer orders (training provided)

Experience/Knowledge Required:

• Able to work a flexible schedule Monday to Sunday nights (10PM - 6:30AM)

• Previous forklift and/or lift truck experience is an asset but not required
• Time management and organizational skills required
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift to fifty pounds repetitively
• Detail-oriented; able to work both independently and as part of a team; self-motivated to drive completion of tasks as quickly and accurately as possible
