Job summary

Walmart Canada in London, ON is seeking a Store Associate to help prepare the sales floor for opening, set and sign features, and participate in unloading merchandise in a safe, clean environment.

As part of the team, you will label and stock items, pull pallets to the backroom and floor for processing, assist customers when needed, and follow safety procedures to keep displays and fixtures secure.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the sales floor for store opening
• Setting, merchandising and signing features
• Completing live unloading of other types of merchandise
• The main differentiator between this role and day/evening fulfillment is there is a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in the backroom bins/stocking
• Pulling pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Assisting in stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service if necessary
• Label the sales floor for store opening
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
