Job summary

Walmart Canada in Summerside, PEI is hiring an Associate to support customer service and merchandise flow from receiving to the sales floor. You will unload trailers, move pallets and help stock shelves in a safe, clean store environment.

You will work as part of a team to plan duties based on workload, with a focus on labeling merchandise, preparing the floor for store openings and providing courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Preparing the sales floor for store opening
• Setting, merchandising and signing features
• Completing live unloading of other types of merchandise
• The main differentiator between this role and day/evening fulfillment is there is a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in the backroom bins/stocking
• Pulling pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Assisting in stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service if necessary
• Label the sales floor for store opening
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
