Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Overnight Lead in Halifax for a role that guides a team through overnight stocking, ensures displays are well-presented, and maintains store standards. You will help coordinate with the Overnight Assistant Manager and daytime team, drive product presentation, and supervise safety and security during overnight hours.

The position starts at a minimum rate of pay of CAD 20.00 per hour, with opportunities to lead and train Overnight Associates in a fast-paced retail

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of the Overnight Stocking as per communicated priorities from the Overnight Assistant Manager and the Daytime Management Team.
• Assesses the overall presentation of merchandise and appearance of the store noting deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required.
• Ensures that defective merchandise is taken to claims room.
• General responsibility for store safety and security in absence of Overnight Assistant Manager. Manage accidents that occur during overnight shift in absence of Overnight Assistant Manager.
• Inspects premises of assigned areas within the store to ensure that adequate security exists and that physical facilities are in compliance.
• Participates training and development of Overnight Associates to achieve production results.
