Job summary

Save-On-Foods, a division of Pattison Food Group, is hiring an Overnight General Clerk for our Princeton, BC location. You will operate a cash register, stock and present products, assist customers, and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for great food and outstanding customer service.
• Retail customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and provide friendly, efficient checkout experience.
• Greet customers and answer questions to help them find products.
• Maintain well-stocked and attractive shelves; ensure freshness.
• Assist with store cleanliness and safety; follow sanitation guidelines.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist with product knowledge sharing and upsell when appropriate.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
