Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking an Overnight Freight Team Associate to stock merchandise, organize the sales floor, and create a safe shopping environment. This overnight shift runs from 10pm to 7am, with pay between $20.40 and $22.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Evening and overnight work required.
• Lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
• Lift equipment experience is an asset (Forklift, Reach-truck, Order-picker, etc.).
• Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated to drive completion of tasks quickly and accurately.
• Computer skills are an asset (training provided).
• Comfortable lifting merchandise to help achieve 100% in stock.

Responsibilities

• Verifying inventory, reading reports utilizing computer terminals and Home Depot portable phones.
• Stocking merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock.
• Maintaining aisle cleanliness.
• Obtaining pick lists and gathering merchandise throughout the store to fill customer orders.
• Communicating with other overnight team members to ensure all products are stocked accurately.
• Moving freight safely from designated staging areas to overheads using the appropriate equipment as necessary.
