Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Dairy/Frozen Associate in St. John's, NL. You will deliver outstanding customer service, keep the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and well zoned, and support stocking and sales activities.

You will ensure fresh products are available, rotate stock, monitor expiration dates, price and sign merchandise accurately, maintain cold chain and sanitation standards, and uphold safety guidelines while remaining flexible for various shifts.

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards: Keeps the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Stock Rotation and Product Quality: Rotates merchandise regularly and checks for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards.
• Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy: Ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Cold Chain, Food Safety, and Sanitation: Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Merchandising and Feature Maintenance: Maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance: Maintains a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, and by following all Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

Compensation
