McDonald’s Canada in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland and Labrador, is looking for an Overnight Cleaner to help keep our restaurant clean, safe, and welcoming for guests.

You will clean equipment, move and access hard‑to‑reach areas, empty garbages, sweep, mop, wipe tables, and tidy after closing. The role supports a dynamic team with flexible hours and opportunities to learn and grow within a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or cleaning is not mandatory; the most important trait is your reliability and team spirit.
• Able to work overnights and handle physical tasks with energy and positivity.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced guest‑facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment and work areas.
• Move equipment to access behind and underneath surfaces.
• Perform basic cleaning: change garbage, sweep, mop, and wipe tables.
• Access hard-to-reach places using ladders or stretch reachers.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming restaurant environment.

The job

We are sure that you have an idea about what working with us is like, but just in case here are some of the highlights on what your job as a Night Crew will entail:

• Cleaning of equipment
• Moving equipment to clean behind and underneath
• Basic cleaning such as changing garbages, sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables, just to name a few
• Getting at hard to reach places to clean which will include bending & kneeling
• Cleaning high areas with the use of a ladder as needed
