Job summary

Walmart Canada in Prince George, BC is seeking a store associate to support unloading, stocking, and merchandising as the store opens. You will help prepare the floor, set up signs, and ensure merchandise is properly displayed.

You will work with a team to label and stock goods, move pallets for overnight processing, and provide customer service when needed, all while maintaining a safe, clean environment. Minimum age is 16; wage starts at $18.40 per hour.

Job description

Position Summary...To provide customer service by completing assigned tasks relating to receiving and the flow of merchandise through to the sales floor. This will be accomplished by unloading trailers, pulling pallets to the floor and assisting in the processing of merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.What you'll do...1. Preparing the sales floor for store opening2. Setting, merchandising and signing features3. Completing live unloading of other types of merchandise4. The main differentiator between this role and day/evening fulfillment is there is a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in the backroom bins/stocking5. Pulling pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing6. Assisting in stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service if necessary7. Label the sales floor for store opening8.
