Job summary

Walmart Canada in Edmonton is seeking an Associate to support receiving and floor replenishment duties. You will unload trailers, move pallets to the floor, stock merchandise and assist customers when needed, all while maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

You'll work as part of a team to open the store, label and merchandise features, and participate in backroom stocking for overnight processing, following store policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including unloading trailers and stocking merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales floor for store opening.
• Set, merchandise, and sign features.
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of merchandise.
• Label and place merchandise in backroom bins/stocking.
• Move pallets to/from the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Assist in stocking the sales floor and provide customer service as needed.
• Label the sales floor for store opening.
• Contribute to a safe, clean environment by following company policies and completing safety checks.

Position Summary...To provide customer service by completing assigned tasks relating to receiving and the flow of merchandise through to the sales floor. This will be accomplished by unloading trailers, pulling pallets to the floor and assisting in the processing of merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.What you'll do...1. Preparing the sales floor for store opening2. Setting, merchandising and signing features3. Completing live unloading of other types of merchandise4. The main differentiator between this role and day/evening fulfillment is there is a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in the backroom bins/stocking5. Label the sales floor for store opening8.
