This role involves driving, coordinating with dispatch, and performing routine vehicle inspections in a demanding schedule that includes early morning, evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
• Provide professionalism in customer service
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials
• Inspect vehicle condition (tires, lights, brakes, etc.)
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Communicate with dispatch
• Record cargo info, hours, distance, and fuel
