Job summary

Walmart Canada in New Minas is hiring an Over-the-Counter Associate to assist customers, properly zone the assigned area, and support the OTC/Pharmacy teams while upholding Walmart's Basic Beliefs.

You will rotate stock, check expiry dates, price and label items, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and help ensure accurate signage and service standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• Ability to work in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and following practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Maximizing department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
• Zoning the department.
• Following proper procedures for: Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Keeping the area clean, organized, and free of fixtures, debris, and liquids.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process.

• Keeping the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.90.
