Job summary

ALS is seeking several general laborers to join the sample preparation team at our CAN - QC - Val d’Or, Québec site. You will assist with sorting, sieving, grinding and portioning samples under supervision and help with drying ovens, records, and general lab support.

The role requires good hand-eye coordination, organization, basic English communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred (asset).
• Good eye-hand coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously within a team.
• Basic English communication skills (oral and written).
• Capable of handling physical tasks and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sort, sieve, grind and portion samples under supervision.
• Load and unload drying ovens.
• Keep production records up to date.
• Perform general cleaning and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Support various lab maintenance and operations tasks.
• Follow established procedures and quality standards.
