Overview

BE Power Equipment is a leading manufacturer of pressure washers, air compressors, generators and water pumps serving industrial markets in over 30 countries. Headquartered in Abbotsford, BC, our third generation, family owned business is focused on designing quality products and delivering exceptional service.

We are currently adding to our Outside Sales Representative team in the province of British Columbia.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with customers throughout the territory, as well as uncovering and growing new opportunities. The position will require a percentage of travel throughout the territory (including overnight) and regular reporting to the VP of Sales. Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, negotiation and self management skills and be able to build impeccable rapport with our dealer community.

Relocation: The candidate must be willing and able to relocate.

  • Understand and practice the Challengers Sales Model.
  • Have an assertive approach to sales and management of accounts.
  • Knowledge & understanding of how buying groups operate and function.
  • Have a proven record of sales achievement and at least 3 years of direct dealer sales experience.
  • Have a technical aptitude and be mechanically inclined.
  • Have strong organizational & multi-tasking skills.
  • Be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (including intermediate level Excel).
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in any of the following industries:
  • Automotive
  • Agricultural
  • Tool Retailer
  • Industrial
  • Lawn & Garden
  • Lumber/ DIY Centers
