Job Description

Our client is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Outside Sales Representative to join their dynamic team in the Toronto area. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and generate new business within the territory.
  • Proactively solicit business through a mix of planned visits, cold calls, and relationship building with existing and prospective customers.
  • Manage and nurture existing accounts, aiming for regular customer visits.
  • Provide effective sales and application solutions for general construction equipment needs.
  • Handle administrative duties promptly, including sales plans and reports.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Profit Center, Rental Management) on equipment and programs.
  • Regularly visit construction sites as a core part of the sales activities.
Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work independently, stay highly organized, and remain self-motivated without constant direct oversight.
  • Demonstrated resilience, particularly in cold calling or new business development environments.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, with the drive to manage and grow your own territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Comfortable with frequent outdoor work and physically visiting construction sites.
