Job summary

A leading material handling company is seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for its Stoney Creek location. This outside sales position is responsible for promoting and selling parts and service while providing after-sales support to customers. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should be proactive in sales techniques, visiting clients regularly, and keeping them informed about new products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Assist Parts & Service departments to increase profitability.
  • Prospect and cold call new accounts for promotions.
  • Implement yearly territory plan to maximize sales.
  • Visit customers at least once per month.
  • Keep customers updated on new products and services.
  • Develop two prospective customers per month.
  • Follow-up with customers on unit and machine performance.
  • Maintain database records related to each customer.
  • Work with management to maximize budget goals.
  • Gather competitive product and pricing information.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Communicate customer concerns to management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and inventory for the company vehicle.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job description

Brandt is currently seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for our Stoney Creek location.

This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling Material Handling parts and service, as well as providing after sales support to new and existing customers.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction
  • Assist the Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performance
  • Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and programs
  • Implement yearly territory plan including a customer target list to maximize sales potential
  • Visit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR); a minimum of 1 visit per month
  • Keep customers current on new products and services
  • Develop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per month
  • Follow-up with customers on unit and machine performance
  • Maintain and utilize the database records related to each customer including sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, notes, and any other documentation as required
  • Work cooperatively with management to meet and maximize budget goals and expand customer base by presenting and implementing new marketing strategies
  • Gather competitive product and pricing information and supply to management
  • Participate in all required training and development opportunities
  • Follow up on customer concerns and communicate effectively to the appropriate Management Team
  • Maintain cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and inventory for the company vehicle
  • Other duties as assigned
