Job summary

Brandt is seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for our Pincher Creek Agriculture location. This outside sales role focuses on promoting and selling agricultural parts and service, with after-sales support for customers.

You will build strong relationships, prospect new accounts, and implement a territory plan to maximize sales potential. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience in a similar role or parts/service department.
• Journeyman ticket/Red Seal is considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is required.
• Exemplary customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of agricultural parts and operations.
• Positive and professional attitude towards situations.
• Strong time management and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
• Assist Parts & Service to improve profitability and performance.
• Prospect and cold call new accounts and discuss promotions.
• Implement yearly territory plan to maximize sales potential.
• Visit customers at least once per month within AOR.
• Keep customers updated on new products and services.
• Develop prospective customers (2 per month).
• Follow-up on unit and machine performance with customers.
• Maintain database records of meetings, quotes, and notes.
• Collaborate with management to meet budget goals and grow customer base.
• Gather competitive pricing information for management.
• Participate in required training and development.
• Follow up on customer concerns with the Management Team.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory for company vehicle.

Brandt is currently seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for our Pincher Creek Agriculture location.

This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling agricultural parts and service, as well as providing after-sales support to new and existing customers.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction
• Assist the Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performance
• Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and programs
• Implement yearly territory plan including a customer target list to maximize sales potential
• Visit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR); a minimum of 1 visit per month
• Keep customers current on new products and services
• Develop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per month
• Follow-up with customers on unit and machine performance
• Maintain and utilize the database records related to each customer including sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, notes, and any other documentation as required
• Work cooperatively with management to meet and maximize budget goals and expand customer base by presenting and implementing new marketing strategies
• Gather competitive product and pricing information and supply to management
• Participate in all required training and development opportunities
• Follow up on customer concerns and communicate effectively to the appropriate Management Team
• Maintain cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and inventory for the company vehicle

What We Look For

• 2 - 3 years of previous sales experience in a similar role, or in a Parts or Service Department
• Journeyman ticket/Red Seal in Parts or Service is considered an asset
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract will be required
