Job summary

A municipal government is seeking an Outside Summer Student to perform grounds maintenance, assist in parks operations, and support special events in Richmond Hill. Candidates must be enrolled as full-time students returning to school in the fall, possess good interpersonal skills, understand instructions, and work outdoors in all conditions. A valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver’s License is required. This role is ideal for enthusiastic students looking to gain practical experience in a municipal setting.

Qualifications

• Must be returning to school full-time for the fall semester.
• Ability to deal with the public courteously and effectively.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parks and sports fields including mowing and litter collection.
• Assist in inspection and cleaning of park amenities.
• Support special events with setup and takedown.
