We are seeking freelance language professionals including interpreters, translators and linguistic specialists to support individuals and organizations in overcoming language barriers. Whether you specialize in spoken interpretation, written translation or transcription we welcome your expertise in ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate communication.
Interpreters (On-site Over-the-Phone Video Remote): Provide real‑time spoken interpretation between English and another language in settings such as healthcare, legal, education, and social services.
Translators: Convert written materials accurately from one language to another including documents, reports, contracts, and digital content.
Transcribers: Listen to audio recordings and produce accurate written transcriptions in the source language or translate into another language.
Proofreaders & Editors: Review and refine translations to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and consistency in terminology.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and at least one other language. Strong comprehension, grammar and communication skills in both languages.
Relevant Experience: Prior experience in interpretation, translation, transcription or localization is preferred but not required. Training opportunities may be available.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with translation tools (CAT software) or remote interpreting platforms is a plus.
Adaptability: Ability to work in diverse environments and handle a variety of subject matters (legal, medical, technical, etc.).
Work Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Reliable Access: Depending on the role access to a stable internet connection, a quiet workspace or transportation for on‑site assignments may be required.
