Job summary

Fountain Tire Cambridge is seeking a responsible, safe OTR Technician to join our team. You will inspect, install, rotate, and repair OTR tires on trucks and farm equipment, and perform service calls at customer sites.

Qualifications

• OTR tire experience required.
• Must have valid DZ license.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must provide a satisfactory driving abstract.
• On-call after hours may be required.
• Work can be physical and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, rotate, and repair OTR tires on trucks, farm equipment, or other vehicles.
• Conduct tire inspections and identify wear, damage, and safety concerns.
• Keep service vehicles, tools, and work areas clean and organized.

Whateach day will bring:

• Something different! You never know what kind of vehicle or tire you may be required to work on
• You could be inspecting, installing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, farm, or primarily OTR tires
• Conduct tire inspections and identify wear patterns, damage, and potential safety concerns
• Ensure service vehicles, tools, and work areas are clean, organized, and maintained
• Perform service calls at customer sites, including field and roadside tire service.

Whatkind of person are we looking for?

• Only applicants with proven OTR tire experience will be considered for the top wage
• Valid DZ license required
• Must also be able to show us you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who willbe up for the challenge
• We need someone who can be on call after hours
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds if required
