Position : OT Cybersecurity Systems Analyst

Location : Toronto, ON / Hybrid

Type : 12-month contract (with potential to extend)

Our client is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Systems Analyst to help safeguard its Operational Technology (OT) environments.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in protecting industrial control systems, ensuring operational reliability, and strengthening cybersecurity resilience across connected building technologies and smart infrastructure.

Your New Role

You will support the execution and maintenance of OT cybersecurity controls, tools, and processes across a complex, distributed environment. Working closely with operations, engineering, and cybersecurity teams, you’ll be responsible for vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and risk mitigation within OT networks.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain OT cybersecurity tools, including vulnerability management and endpoint protection platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate patch tracking in OT environments.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports to ensure visibility into vulnerabilities and compliance with internal standards.
• Track emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to OT and IC S systems; coordinate response and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with operations and vendor teams on endpoint security installation, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Support risk assessment and incident response activities in OT environments.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to remediate identified cybersecurity risks and maintain updated OT security documentation.
• Align practices with industry frameworks such as ISA / IEC 62443, NIST, and SANS to advance OT cybersecurity maturity.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience working in OT / IC S environments (BACNet / MSTP, Modbus, LoRaWAN infrastructure).
• Proven vulnerability assessment and patch management experience in OT networks (Qualys, PAN IoT Security).
• Strong understanding of vulnerability advisory sources , risk assessment, and mitigation frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with endpoint security tools installation and maintenance .
• Familiarity with OT asset management, configuration control , and cross‑team collaboration.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with endpoint protection tools such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender .
• Exposure to identity and remote access management solutions (BeyondTrust, SailPoint, etc.).
• Certifications such as CISSP, PCCET, or PCNSA .
