Hitachi Rail, based in Toronto, seeks an OT Cyber Security Advisor to ensure secure-by-design project solutions and compliance with SRS and customer cybersecurity requirements. This role guides, manages, and sometimes performs cybersecurity activities across projects.

Responsibilities include lifecycle cybersecurity oversight, applying industry standards, aligning with SRS guidelines, and incorporating bid requirements into designs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, design, risk assessment, and development.
• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity processes, standards, and engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cybersecurity activities across project lifecycles, including planning, requirements, design, risk assessment, testing, and vulnerability management.
• Apply industry standards for cybersecurity assessment and project development.
• Align project work with Hitachi Rail SRS cybersecurity guidelines and group processes.
• Assess bid requirements and incorporate them into project designs and cost options.
• Provide specialist consultation and conduct risk and technical vulnerability assessments.
• Coordinate with Global Business Unit Ground Transportation Systems on cybersecurity guidance.
