The Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Security is seeking an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to join the team in Ottawa on a fixed-term basis. This on-site role requires five days per week and bilingual English/French communications.

You will collect, validate, and analyze OSINT from diverse sources, prepare intelligence briefings and risk assessments, and support proactive security decisions while contributing to information systems improvements.

Competenze

• Undergraduate degree in History, Journalism, Communications, Political Science, Sociology, International Studies, Criminology, or related field.
• Experience in security industry or intelligence, corporate security, private investigations, law enforcement, crisis communications, public relations, or social/digital media.
• Experience advising clients and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders.
• Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of various major social media platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Analyze and link new data with previously conducted intelligence analysis.
• Refer identified or adverse information for in-depth investigation by Risk Management and Investigations.
• Prepare intelligence briefings, security assessments, and threat/risk analyses.
• Recommend improvements to OSINT data collection processes and tools.
• Improve information systems and processes.
