If you are looking for a long‑term position as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant in progressive, state‑of‑the‑art offices, with great pay and benefits please read below! We are looking for a Full‑Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our office (on average 32‑40 hrs / week). The successful applicant must be self‑motivated, organized, detail oriented, caring and a compassionate individual to connect with team members, parents and patients. It is also important that this person possesses a positive attitude with professional commitment and is friendly and outgoing in a team‑oriented environment.


Requirements


  • High School diploma

  • Completion of an approved Dental Assistant program and certification as a Dental Assistant (RDA)

  • Orthodontic module

  • Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • Must be computer proficient and learn new software easily (software used in our office are Dolphin and Curve)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Availability to work during applicable business hours

  • Ability to work well with children of all ages

  • Proficient in English

  • Willingness to be cross‑trained between orthodontic and pediatric procedures

  • Must be willing to travel between different office locations


Responsibilities


  • Orthodontic assistant duties

  • Pediatric Dentistry assistant duties (as needed)

  • Sterilization and infection control


Qualifications


  • RDA License

  • Orthodontic Module

  • Scaling Module (Preferably)
