Job summary

Mainstreet Credit Union Canada in Strathroy/Sarnia region is seeking an Organizational Development Coordinator to support the People Team across OD, Learning & Development, and Strategic Initiatives. Hybrid role with in-office weekly expectation at one of our administration locations.

You will coordinate schedules, manage meetings, prepare materials, track milestones, and help maintain documentation while supporting leadership development and process improvements within a values-based

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $57,912.00 - $72,389.00 (commensurate with experience)

Bonus: Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and organizational performance.

The Role

Job Title: Organizational Development Coordinator

Location: Hybrid option available - weekly in office expectation at one of our administration locations (Strathroy or Sarnia).

Job Function

The Organizational Development Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and coordination support across Organizational Development, Learning & Development, and Strategic Initiatives.

Working closely with the Director of Organizational Development & Strategic Initiatives and the People Team, this role ensures the effective coordination of departmental activities by managing logistics, documentation, reporting, communications, scheduling, and administrative processes.

The Organizational Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting organizational initiatives, leadership development programs, learning activities, and departmental operations by enabling the team to focus on strategic priorities and organizational capability.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:Department Coordination

  • Coordinate day-to-day administrative activities across Organizational Development, Learning & Development, and Strategic Initiatives.
  • Coordinate departmental calendars, meetings, workshops and events.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting materials and document action items and follow-up activities.
  • Monitor departmental work plans and coordinate priorities as directed.

Learning & Development Support

  • Coordinate learning schedules, registrations and program logistics.
  • Support onboarding and leadership development activities through administrative coordination.
  • Maintain learning records, participation data and evaluation results.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of learning materials and resources.

Strategic Initiative Support

  • Maintain initiative documentation, templates and supporting resources.
  • Track milestones, action items and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports and presentation materials.
  • Coordinate meetings and communication activities related to departmental initiatives.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Develop, organize and maintain departmental documentation, templates, procedures and knowledge resources.
  • Ensure information remains accurate, current and accessible.
  • Support document version control and departmental record management.

Reporting & Administrative Support

  • Compile departmental metrics, reports and supporting information.
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoices and departmental administration.
  • Support procurement and vendor coordination as required.
  • Maintain departmental filing systems and administrative records.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide administrative support to cross-functional initiatives involving Human Resources and other business areas.
  • Identify opportunities to improve departmental processes, templates and administrative efficiencies.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, service-oriented culture within the People Team.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Office Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum two years' experience in an administrative, coordinator or project support role.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Experience maintaining documentation, reports and records.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
