Overview

Hiring: Organic Grocery Delivery Driver for Ottawa Organics in Ottawa, Ontario. We deliver organic produce and groceries to families in Ottawa and Gatineau, working with a network of local farms all year round.

Responsibilities

• Deliver organic produce and groceries to customers using company-owned cargo vans.
• Provide friendly, reliable customer service and represent the company positively at the doorstep.
• Follow schedules and route plans; read maps and navigate with ease.
• Lift and carry boxes of groceries; maintain safety and organization during deliveries.

Schedule

Approximately 4-8 hours per day, 2-4 days a week (Wednesday-Saturday). This is a year-round position, not seasonal.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Self-starter with map-reading/navigation abilities; physically fit for lifting.
• Customer service mindset; bilingual in French and English is a bonus but not essential.

Experience, Education, Training

• A clean driving record is required.
• Experience with handheld GPS units is a plus.
• Interest in organics and local community.

Certifications/Licenses

• Valid Ontario (Full G) driver’s license.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour to start. Free veggies.
