Job summary

Purity Life Health Products LP in Vancouver is seeking a reliable Picker to support our distribution centre operations. You will manually pick materials for customer orders, lift totes, perform basic quality checks on counts and packaging, and prepare items for packing and dispatch.

• Fold, tap, label, and stack boxes on pallets or conveyors.
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing components for all cases and displays.
• Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment to boost productivity.
• Adhere to safe lifting and handling techniques.
• Keep work area neat, safe, and restocked with materials.

We have a Job opportunity for a PICKER (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) locatedin our Vancouver Distribution Centre at 888W Kent Ave S, Vancouver.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick materials and products manually for distribution to our customers
• Lift totes off racking to station for packing (approx. 40 lbs)
• Performs basic quality control checks including package counts and evaluating product or package appearance
• Folds & taps boxes, applies labels, and stacks boxes on pallets/conveyor
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing all components and sub-components for all cases, boxes and displays
• Ensure that all warehouse equipment and tools are properly utilized to increase productivity and efficiency
• Utilize proper techniques for lifting, packing, and handling heavy objects,proper cutting techniques, reaching and pushing/pulling
• Ensure that your work area is neat, safe, organized and packing materials restocked at all times
• Responsible for the careful handling of merchandise at all times
• Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy or quality standards for work performed.
• Assembly of mass orders by weighing and shrink wrapping pallets
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand on their feet for 8 hour shifts

The hourly wage for this Position is $21.75 plus gainshare
