Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a candidate with over 5 years of experience in Oracle database support. The ideal applicant should have a strong background in Oracle 19c, including knowledge of OCAC and Exadata. Responsibilities include conducting database backups and restores, performance tuning, and upgrades from 12c to 19c. This role offers an opportunity to work with large databases and requires experience in backup methods and database migration techniques.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on Oracle 19c db version.
• 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud At Customer (OCAC).
• Strong knowledge of upgrading databases from 12c to 19c.
• Knowledge of Dataguard and database upgrades to 19c.

Responsibilities

• Support Oracle databases as a core technology.
• Perform backups and restores (full and incremental).
• Tune performance and monitor DB health.
• Handle Dataguard, upgrades (12c to 19c) and migration tasks.
• Clone large PDBs (5–15 TB) and manage migrations.

Responsibilities

5+years of experience working on Oracle 19c db version Candidate should have 3-5 years of experience working on OCAC ( Oracle Cloud At Customer) and Oracle Exadata including a full understanding of its architecture Candidate should primary experience should have been in supporting Oracle database as a technology. Candidate should have ability to conduct backup and restore of databases both from full backup and incremental backups, along with strong knowledge in performance tuning , Oracle Datagaurd. Candidate should have strong knowledge of upgrading databases from 12c to 19c and so forth as well as different methods of full database migration especially export/import , PDB Clone of Large size databases of 5-15 TB Good to have :- Golden Gate experience for replication for large size databases and any other technologies.
