Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management Delivery Architect

A Delivery Architect at Argano is a highly experienced professional in the consulting family responsible for providing solution leadership to mid‑to‑large‑size client engagements and contributing to the growth and development of the consulting practice. The ideal candidate thrives in an upbeat and innovative environment, collaborates with clients to deliver state‑of‑the‑art solutions, and excels at delivering high‑quality, cutting‑edge services to Argano clients in the Oracle community. The Oracle Cloud Delivery Architect focuses on guiding and assisting clients through all phases of Oracle ERP Cloud implementation, with expertise in implementing a wide range of Oracle Cloud applications. The successful candidate will have completed five successful Oracle Cloud implementations and will lead the implementation team in all phases, applying creative and innovative approaches to resolve product implementation and integration obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid‑to‑large‑size and complex consulting projects simultaneously.
• Conduct Oracle SaaS requirements workshops, solutions architecture & design discussions.
• Consult with clients to provide cost‑effective solutions to business scenarios using in‑depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications and industry best practices.
• Lead the implementation team in creating the overall Enterprise Cloud solution, both technical and functional.
• Extend Oracle SaaS footprints with PaaS extensions, designing solutions and writing specifications to create custom applications and integrate them with Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Analyze current systems and data to identify new requirements or necessary system enhancements or modifications.
• Lead, mentor, train and guide an Oracle Cloud applications team.
• Map enterprise requirements to multiple applications in the Oracle SaaS Applications.
• Identify and apply innovative approaches to resolve product implementation and integration obstacles.
• Develop and implement long‑term client strategies.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients and effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage project stakeholders in the estimation process, mindful of the impact of strategic business changes.
• Support business partners in presenting solution value to key stakeholders effectively.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors and suppliers to source necessary hardware, software, or services; negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms for the client.
• Present compelling business cases, clearly quantifying the benefits of proposed solutions.
• Continuously monitor the performance of implemented solutions to identify areas for improvement or optimization, providing recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as needed.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.
• MBA, relevant master’s degree, or PhD.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Oracle Functional consultant with 3+ years of experience in solution design for Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management implementations.
• Expert‑level experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud PPM implementation projects and upgrades.
• Experience with Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS) focusing on Integration Cloud Service, Database Cloud Service.
• Knowledgeable and experienced with Web Services and the use of Oracle Cloud delivered Web Services (SOAP & REST).
• Expert consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, lead fit‑gap analysis, design business processes, manage conference room pilots (CRPs), perform functional configuration, and manage testing of PPM solutions.
• Experience navigating cross‑border and diverse teams and projects.
• Expert level experience with cloud PPM modules such as Project Execution Management, Project Billing, Costing, Resource Management, Contracts, Grants Management, and Project Performance Management.
• Expert level experience with one or more of the following Oracle Cloud Applications:
  • Oracle ERP Cloud
  • Oracle Project Portfolio Management Cloud
  • Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud
  • Oracle Manufacturing Cloud
• Experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud, Primavera Unifier and Oracle Textura Payment Management would be a plus.
• Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, lead fit‑gap analysis, design business processes, manage CRPs, and perform functional configuration.
• Proven experience guiding clients through business process improvements.
• Ability to analyze industry business processes and develop end‑to‑end solutions and functional design.
• Experience in project‑intensive industries such as engineering and construction, industrial manufacturing, and public sectors is highly desired.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
• High commitment to exceed performance expectations.
• Senior enough to independently handle client expectations.
• Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Preferred consulting experience in a similar role in a professional services firm or industry experience at a strategic level.
• Previous experience working in IT companies.
• In‑depth knowledge of the technologies and systems relevant.
