Job summary

Qualifications

• Great track record of attendance.
• Availability to work every Saturday, Sunday, and statutory holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for 9 hours, and perform repetitive movements.
• 1–2 professional references.
• No previous work experience required – willingness to learn is valued.

Responsibilities

• Removes lint from linen and folds items using prescribed methods.
• Inspects operating room linens for defects and quality.
• Assembles linen packs with correct quantities and wrappers for sterilization.
• Prepares packs for loading and sterilization, starts the sterilization process.
• Uses computer for data entry and scanning; maintains an orderly workspace.
• Performs other duties to ensure smooth department operation.
