Job summary

Affinity Optometry, a partner of FYidoctors, seeks a collaborative Optometrist to join our Vernon, BC clinic. This busy practice services a large patient base with two exam lanes and modern diagnostic equipment, supported by an experienced team.

We value patient-centered care, strong customer service, and teamwork, with the opportunity to work 4–5 days per week in a Monday–Friday schedule. Vernon offers a high quality of life in the Okanagan region.

Qualifications

• OD licensed to practice in British Columbia.
• Experience providing comprehensive eye care is preferred.
• Ability to work well within a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive eye exams and refractive assessments.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists to optimize patient care.
• Support pretesting and dispensing in the clinic.

Job description

Affinity Optometry, partners of FYidoctors, is recruiting for a collaborative and patient focused Optometrist to join our clinic. Located in beautiful Vernon BC this is an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to join a busy established practice with a large diverse patient base. We are open Monday to Friday and are hoping for an OD to join the clinic 4 or 5 days per week. Our clinic is a two-exam lane practice complete with the latest diagnostic equipment. Our Optometrists are supported by an experienced team who, support with pretesting and in our dispensary. Patient care and customer service are at the heart of everything we do, and our team is proud of the relationships we have built with our patients.

We have a great relationship with the local Ophthalmologist’s in Vernon with referrals flowing both ways between our clinic and the Ophthalmologist practice.
