• Candidates working at this post are appointed to ring up orders and over-the-counter merchandise.
• They’re also appointed to receive accurate payment, make change, processes, cheques, credit and debit charges according to proper procedures for paperwork, cash handling and performance of duties.
• Candidates are also appointed to be permitted by provincial law and under the supervision of a licensed Optician, fits and adjusts eyeglasses using frame warmers and bending with fingers.
• They’re also required to order equipment, merchandise, and supplies by keying into the computer.
• Candidates are also appointed to follow department procedures and standards for production, record keeping, merchandising and product storage.
• They’re also appointed to clean the department by spraying, wiping and mopping.
