Job summary

A leading engineering services provider in Ontario is seeking a Product Verification Engineer. This role focuses on ensuring quality and functionality of optical and networking products through both manual and automated tests. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in software verification, along with skills in C#, Python, and networking protocols. This is a contract to hire position with a pay range of $40.00 - $60.00 per hour and requires onsite work with occasional flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded product/software verification or validation.
• Solid understanding of various networking protocols.
• Hands-on troubleshooting, debugging, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create and maintain test cases.
• Develop and augment automation scripts using C# and Python.
• Execute manual and automated tests, including regression and sanity runs.
