Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to shape lenses per specifications.
• Block, cut and polish lenses; deblock lenses from alloy and wash blocks and lenses.
• Align lenses according to drawings; ensure proper position and lock blocks in place.
• Melt and manage protective alloy processes and rinse blocks as needed.
• Wash and dry blocks and lenses; supply blocking station with alloy and blocks.
• Assist in other laboratory tasks as necessary.
