Job Summary

The team at Altima Parkedale Dental Centre in Brockville, ON is looking for a passionate, hard‑working Locum Associate Dentist on a locum basis for 5 weeks: Oct. 27 – Nov. 28.

As an Associate Dentist you will provide a full range of dental services with the highest quality of care to ensure our patients have a positive, rewarding experience and leave with a smile. The ideal Associate is skilled in helping patients feel at ease and comfortable, can clearly communicate with both patients and coworkers, and work independently as needed.

Altima Parkedale Dental Centre is located on the beautiful St. Laurence River in a very picturesque town with amazing waterfront trails for the best sunrises/sunsets. A very welcoming community with many activities throughout the summer and winter.

Schedule

40 hours per week:
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Wednesday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program from an accredited school or university program, or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency process.
• Registered or in processing of registering with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
• Member of CDA/ODA (for Electronic Claims).
• Eligible to practice dentistry in the province of Ontario.
• 1 year of experience in practicing dentistry is required as you will be working on your own and with 2 hygienists.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients’ families.
