  • Academic Involvement: The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) partners with the University of Saskatchewan to support medical learners - teaching opportunities are available if desired.
  • New Hospital Coming soon: A brand-new hospital is currently under construction, promising a state-of-the-art work environment and enhanced facilities in the near future - a major step forward for care delivery in the region.
  • Lifestyle Balance: Enjoy a low cost of living, short commutes, and access to pristine lakes, forests, and four-season outdoor recreation.
  • Based out of the Prince Albert Victoria Hospital, serving a population of 80,000 across northern and northeastern Saskatchewan.
  • Work closely with The Eye Centre, an integrated unit that partners with hospital departments, external agencies, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient care. May provide some work in Regina, SK
  • Call Schedule: 1:4, Monday to Monday (08:00-08:00), including emergency and after-hours coverage; a separate rotation exists for long weekends.
  • Compensation: Independent fee-for-service, plus eligibility for an on-call retainer through the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program.
