Job summary

McKay Métis Contracting is seeking an experienced Fuel and Lube Operator (Lube Delivery) local to Fort McMurray, AB. The role involves delivering lubricants to the client site and operating a lube delivery truck, with responsibilities including loading/unloading and reporting on maintenance and safety issues.

The candidate must hold Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement, CSO certification, and have a satisfactory 5-year driving abstract.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement.
• CSO certification or equivalent.
• 5-year driving abstract.
• Experience operating Class 3, three axle vehicles.
• Ability to access all client sites as required.
• Able to work in all weather and site conditions.
• Pre-employment drug, alcohol, and physical abilities testing completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lubricants to modules at the client site.
• Operate a lube delivery truck to transport bulk lubricants.
• Load, secure, and unload lubricant products safely.
• Maintain lube trucks and equipment, keeping them clean and safe.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks as requested by supervisor.

Job description

McKay Métis Contracting is seeking an experienced Fuel and Lube Operator (Lube Delivery), must be local to Fort McMurray, AB or willing to relocate. The successful local candidate will have access to daily bussing to/from site.

The Role:

Responsible for delivering lubricants to the module at our client site at Syncrude Mildred Lake.

Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to understand lubricant types and applications
• Operate a lube delivery truck to transport bulk lubricants to assigned modules at the Base Plant.
• Load, secure, and unload lubricant products safely, following proper handling and monitoring procedures to prevent spills, maintain levels, contamination or product loss.
• Maintain lube trucks and equipment on a continuous basis including keeping it clean and free of safety hazards
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, as requested by supervisor
• Provide verbal or written reports about maintenance, safety, or environmental issues, to the supervisor daily
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and regular safety meetings
• All other duties as required

What we need from you:

• Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement is required.
• Class One (1) is an asset.
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in operating Class 3, three axle vehicles.
• Experience with manual transmission is an asset
• Additional Requirements:
• Satisfactory 5-year Drivers Abstract.
• Ability to access all client sites as required.
• Able to work in all weather and working site conditions.
• Successfully complete all pre-employment drug, alcohol, and physical abilities testing.

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off followed by 7 nights and 7 days off, 12 hours per day, ½ hour unpaid lunch, averaging arrangement

What We Offer:
