FedEx Canada is seeking a frontline supervisor to support the Safety Above All Culture and manage day-to-day sort operations and Cargo Handlers at a station. You will lead and guide employees in proper package handling, routing, and recovery of service failures, ensuring compliance with FXE policies and government regulations.

The role requires a college degree and supervisory experience, with a focus on mentoring, delegation, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• College degree is required.
• 2 years FedEx sort operations or senior level hourly role experience OR 2 years supervisory experience in related industry.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Ability to complete basic and recurrency training including DG certification.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other employees.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate in a time-sensitive manner.
• Addresses and resolves conflict management.
• Clear, concise, timely communication with empathy.

This is an interview position plus CEV.

This is a frontline supervisor position that supports the FedEx Express (FXE) Safety Above All Culture and manages specific day-to-day sort operations and assigned Cargo Handlers (CH) staff within a station. Responsible to lead and guide employees in proper package handling, routing and recovery of potential service failures within the station sort function. The Operations Supervisor has oversight for all CH functions, including the direction of work activities, employee mentoring/coaching/training ensuring administrative processes are compliant with FXE policies and procedures and government regulations.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• College degree

External post: Part-time shift is Mon,Tue,Thur and Fri at 1:30PM and Sat at 9:30AM. Shift hours- 6hrs and a 30min unpaid break, scheduled for 6.5hrs a day. Rate: $26.00
