Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)

This role requires regular in‑office collaboration. We're looking for someone who can work from our Calgary office at least three days a week.

PurposeMed's office is located on the unceded and traditional territories of the peoples of the Treaty 7 region which includes the nations of the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Îethka Stoney Nakoda which consists of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Good Stoney Bands, and people of the Tsuut'ina First Nation. Who we hope to find:

PurposeMed is looking for an Operations Specialist to join our fast‑growing Clinical Programs team. Reporting to our Director, Clinical Programs, this role will play a key part in keeping initiatives on track, supporting cross‑functional stakeholders, and driving the successful execution of program pilots and projects.

The role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious and enjoys bringing structure to complex problems through clear workflow design and documentation and turning high‑level plans into actionable steps. The successful candidate will hit the ground running by taking ownership of quarterly initiative sub‑projects related to new service design and optimization, including dashboard and tracker development, workflow documentation, and cross‑functional stakeholder engagement. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy organization, solving problems, and taking ownership of keeping projects running smoothly.

In this role, you'll make an impact by:

Driving Program Execution

  • Coordinating and supporting program pilots and initiatives to ensure timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are managed effectively
  • Escalating risks, blockers, and gaps to keep projects on track
  • Delivering projects on schedule and aligning with organizational priorities
  • Leveraging available program data to inform execution decisions and prioritize actions

Documenting and Streamlining Processes

  • Creating and maintaining clear, organized documentation for workflows, meeting notes, and program materials
  • Supporting consistency and continuity across programs and initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and workflows, helping the team work more efficiently

Tracking Performance and Outcomes

  • Collecting, organizing, and maintaining program data, dashboards, and trackers
  • Highlighting trends, potential issues, and insights to inform data‑driven decision‑making
  • Monitoring program outcomes to ensure initiatives are positioned for long‑term success
  • Using analytical skills to identify patterns or anomalies in data and support program improvements

Supporting Stakeholders and Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Preparing updates, presentations, and trackers to keep stakeholders aligned
  • Coordinating meetings, documenting action items, and ensuring timely follow‑through
  • Maintaining strong communication with Program Managers and cross‑functional teams to support project progress
  • Providing insights from program data to help guide cross‑functional decisions and priorities
We need someone who has:
  • 2–4 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or systems improvement, ideally in a fast‑paced or cross‑functional environment
  • A post‑secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field such as business administration, project management, or communications
  • A proven ability to drive execution and manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially around documentation, process management and data tracking
  • An in‑depth understanding of computer fundamentals, with the ability to learn and implement new software or technologies quickly, and troubleshoot technological problems independently
  • Strong analytical ability, with experience using data to inform decisions; SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and provide reliable support
  • Comfort using tools and systems (e.g., Google Workspace, Monday, Slack, Jotform, Formsort, or similar) to track work, build structure, and stay organized
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset, able to identify issues and propose practical solutions even in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to work from our Calgary office at least three days per week, collaborating closely with the team in person
It would also be great if you have:
  • Experience in healthcare settings supporting program initiatives
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies or workflow documentation practices
Compensation:
  • $73,000 – $84,000 CAD a year
