Operations Manager (Planning & Analysis)

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead our Planning and Analysis efforts in Canada.
Location: Canada.

About the role

Hopp is seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to join the Canadian business under the Planning & Analysis domain. As a key member of the Canadian team, you will partner with business leaders across all departments to provide strategic and actionable insights to drive profitable growth. You will be directly involved in defining and implementing the strategy for Canada and hold a key strategic position in the local team.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Financial Modelling & Forecasting Oversight: Supervising the development and maintenance of robust financial models, ensuring accurate and insightful financial forecasts.
  • Strategic Planning & Partnership: Collaborating with senior leadership across all departments to translate strategic goals into actionable financial plans.
  • Performance Management: Working collaboratively with HQ FP&A function, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Financial Reporting: Owning the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes.
About you
  • You have 5+ years of experience working in and developing high-performing teams with a focus on accounting, finance, analytics, and/or reporting.
  • You have a proven track record of developing and implementing robust financial planning and analysis processes, including annual operating budgets, long-range plans, and rolling forecasts.
  • You have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to dissect complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights that guide strategic decision-making.
  • You have strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • You are able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
