Job summary

Giorgio Armani Canada Corporation is seeking an Operations Manager for Armani Exchange at Metrotown. You will lead a diverse team, inspire and motivate daily, and work with the General Manager to support the entire store in driving sales and delivering an excellent client experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience with emphasis on store management or office administration
• College/Post-Secondary degree preferred
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills and the ability to influence partners and motivate direct reports
• Demonstrated experience in executing Trainings and Presentations
• Proficiency with Retail Systems and Office programs, i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Open availability and able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the store team to drive sales and deliver an excellent client experience
• Provide input on merchandising strategies and oversee store operations
• Manage front-of-house/back-of-house, POS, HR, facilities, and operating budgets; collaborate with Loss Prevention

Operations Manager | Full-Time | Armani Exchange, Metrotown
This posting is for an existing vacancy
As a leader within Giorgio Armani Canada Corporation, you will be part of a diverse leadership and sales team, who you will inspire and motivate each day. You will work with the General Manager to support the entire team on driving sales, providing an excellent client experience, building strong talent and ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively. Your ability to combine entrepreneurial spirit, passion for the brand and knowledge of the luxury/retail business with organizational skills to manage the store will greatly influence the client and associate experience.

As an Operations Manager, you will also provide input on merchandising strategies and be accountable for the operations of the store. Your daily presence on the sales floor will provide you the opportunity to understand the business on the front line, and you will have the opportunity to use the insights to improve the store’s business. You will help shape and execute store strategies to drive revenue. In addition, you will be accountable for ensuring appropriate communications are cascaded throughout the team.

To succeed in this role you are willing to lead by example and with integrity, collaborate, be intellectually curious, strategic, lead through ambiguity and change and results oriented. As the person accountable for achieving Inventory targets and Operational Excellence, you will manage the areas of back of house, point-of-sale, human resources, facilities management, operating budgets and collaborating with the Loss Prevention business partner.

This role has an annual salary range of $50,000 to $55,000 plus bonus, depending on experience and qualifications.
