Duties

Rentokil-Terminix is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Burnaby, BC. The Operations Manager will be responsible for training, leading, and developing a team of service technicians. They will help achieve sales and revenue goals, foster client loyalty and retention, and ensure the team provides exceptional service to our clients. Additional management duties include:

  • Managing daily operations of pest control technicians to deliver superior customer service
  • Providing direction to staff in operations, service, and client care
  • Managing financial performance, including revenue growth and expense control
  • Visiting clients, assisting pest technicians, and collaborating with the sales team on business development
  • Working a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends as needed
  • Submitting weekly, monthly, and yearly reports as required
  • Monitoring and adjusting scheduled appointments, field routing, quality control audits, and account management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
  • 3-5 years in a management role with emphasis on customer service
  • Pest control management experience required
  • Proven success in training, mentoring, and coaching service professionals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a route-oriented, service environment is a plus
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant licenses/certificates as required by regulations
  • Must pass pre-employment background check
  • Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
