Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, including office infrastructure, budgeting, vendor management, and internal workflows to ensure organizational efficiency.
  • Lead planning and execution of public space projects such as patios, lighting, planters, and other corridor improvements that promote safety, cleanliness, and vibrancy.
  • Act as the primary contact for municipal initiatives, including construction updates, road closures, and seasonal patio programs; coordinate permits and public space bookings.
  • Collaborate with city departments, law enforcement, outreach teams, and contractors to address safety, maintenance, and accessibility within the district.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, landlords, and community partners to encourage engagement, alignment, and business attraction.
  • Support the development of grant applications, sponsorships, and funding proposals for programs, projects, and events.
  • Plan and deliver community events and activations, managing logistics, programming, permits, and communication to ensure successful execution.
  • Drive business engagement through outreach, onboarding, data management, newsletters, stakeholder events, and the Avenue Ambassador Program.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social services, or related fieldis required.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience is required in operations, business advocacy, or public realm projects.

Base Salary:$80,000 – 90,000 per year

Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per week

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
