As part of a rapidly growing financial service center, we are looking to hire a Finance Manager, Accounting & Management Control. This will help to structure internal processes, strengthen the Finance function, and foster collaboration and performance across the platform.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of Canadian operations, while gaining international exposure through close collaboration with teams in New York, Paris, and other global offices.

About the Role

Reporting to the Canada Chief Finance Officer, the Finance Manager will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, management control, and local tax coordination, across multiple business units and services.

You will play a key role in building and structuring a high‑performing Finance function for the Americas region, balancing hands‑on leadership with strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of financial accounting for the service company
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and IFRS.
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial processes to support scalability and compliance.
Planning & Management Control
  • Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Enhance management control tools and methodologies to monitor financial performance.
Tax & Compliance
  • Support local tax processes, including corporate tax, VAT, and international tax requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Ensure adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Manage and develop two local finance teams.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships with HR, Operations, and IT teams in Canada, as well as with Finance teams in New York and Paris.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CFO and senior management, ensuring the Finance function contributes effectively to business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and management control.
  • Proven success in team leadership and process structuring within a financial or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards; IFRS experience preferred.
  • Professional designation (CPA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in French and English (oral and written).

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
