Job summary

Qualifications

• Current BCLS certification required.
• Previous OR experience essential.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the flow of daily activities of the OR.
• Ambulate pre-operative patients and transport them to theatres.
• Make sure the OR theatres are set up with necessary equipment.

Skills

Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office

Ability to work as a member of a team

Well-developed time management skills

Ability to communicate in English

Education

Graduate from an approved personal care attendant program

Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent medical background experience
