Pattern Energy Group Services LP is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial analysis and valuation for a specific geographic region of Pattern’s operating asset fleet. This role will drive the conversion of development and construction models to operations templates and support strategic decision-making.

You will build and maintain operating asset financial models, forecast long-term performance, annual budgets, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for leading financial analysis and valuation and providing transaction support for a specific geographic region of Pattern’s operating asset fleet.

Lead conversion of projects from development and construction model template into operations model template.

Lead development and maintenance of a suite of tools which measure operating asset financial potential and performance: long-term operating model and forecast, annual budget, monthly actuals-vs-budget comparison, 3rd party capital performance metrics and compliance, internal and external reporting.

Contribute as a key member to a cross-functional team that will see assets through construction and term conversion, and subsequently support a range of strategic evaluation and decision-making over the asset life. Such decisions will include cash management and distributions, surveillance and response to project-level issues, and financial and commercial value optimization over time (refinancings, revenue optimization and asset enhancements, equipment repowering, etc.).

• Transaction commercial and financial support to help manage: term conversion activities, project re-financings and asset optimizations including PPA renegotiation, re-powers, tax equity buyouts, etc.

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

• 3 to 6 years relevant work experience, including asset valuation and modelling
• Exceptional analytical skills and understanding of relevant financial and mathematical modelling techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express ideas effectively and fluently.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment where teamwork and independent work ethic are essential.
• Ability to think strategically about markets and asset value optimization.
• Experienced across a broad spectrum of corporate financial decision making.

The expected starting pay range for this role is $103,000 - $138,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
