A leading staffing agency in Montreal is seeking machine operators for an onsite role in production and packaging. Responsibilities include monitoring the production line, troubleshooting machinery, and ensuring product quality. The position offers a pay range of $26.55/hr, and candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills. Experience in quality control is preferred but not mandatory.
The role requires working as machine operators. The production is divided into two main areas: production and packaging. Production is further segmented by dairy types such as cheddar, industrial (processed orange cheese), and IQF, which is more physical.
Opportunities are divided by department. In the packaging department, operators handle conveyors and wrapping machines that are easier to troubleshoot during blockages. In the production department, operators work with tanks, tubes and non‑visible processes; reading mechanical plans is required to understand and repair the machines, though plan reading is not mandatory for new hires and is considered advantageous.
Pay range: $26.55 - $26.55/hr.
This is a fully onsite position in SAINT-LÉONARD, QC.
The company is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.
