A leading engineering firm in Vancouver is seeking an intermediate mining engineer. Responsibilities include data evaluation, mine planning, and operational support. Ideal candidates should have strong computer skills, good communication abilities, and a relevant degree. Significant 5 years of experience in the mining industry or consulting is preferred. Qualifications

• Preferred minimum of 5 years’ industry or consulting experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Eligible for registration as an EIT or P.Eng. in BC.

Responsibilities

• Data evaluation and interpretation including equipment productivity, costing.
• Open pit optimization, mine planning, scheduling and pit design.
• Complying with client safety programs.
