Qualifications

• 48 months of work experience in the vocation, or 36 months of teaching experience and 24 months of work experience, or 24 months of work experience in the vocation.
• Must meet the Instructor qualification standards as outlined in the Regulations to Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
• Availability to teach online as per the accepted schedule.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the field.
• Instruct curriculum using pre-authorized materials.
• Employ diverse teaching strategies to communicate effectively.
• Administer and mark quizzes, assignments, and exams.
• Provide support to the admissions team.
• Maintain attendance records accurately.

Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database systems

Ability to teach Physics, Chemistry, and Calculus courses

Excellent oral and written communication

Interpersonal skills for mentoring and role modeling

Computer skills for online teaching

Education

Bachelor degree from a Canadian university or equivalent

Graduate of a College of Applied Arts and Technology or equivalent

Graduate of a registered Ontario Career College or equivalent
